Error 11:10 on HP Designjet means that the trailing cable is not detected. Solution 1 : Turn off the printer Disconnect the power cord. Wait five minutes Reconnect the power cord, and turn on the printer. Solution 2 : Check that the trailing cable is correctly connected between the engine PCA and carriage PCA. Solution 3 : Check that the trailing cable connectors are not damaged, especially on the E-Box side. Rreplace the trailing cable if necessary. Solution 4 : Check that the power cable from the power supply unit is connected to the formatter.

Solution : You have to connect the trailing cable at two ends. One in the back and one to the printhead.  Before reconnecting, check the ends on the cable as sometimes the connection points get bent or damaged.  If that does not solve your issue: replace the cable ( C7769-60305 or C7770-60274 )

Problem description for " System Error: 86:01, 0X8010003 ": That is a Carriage-Axis shutdown. Solution 1 : If this error code appeared but was not caused by a paper jam, then try the following: Enter the Printer Information and check the Scan-Axis usage.  If the percentage is close to 100%, then lubricate the Slider Rod (there is probably too much friction in the Slider Rod). Solution 2 : The Carriage is bumping into the Service Station. How to replace the belt on HP Designjet 5000 series

Remove the left hand cover: Switch off the Printer and remove the power cable. 1. Remove ALL the Ink Cartridges from the Printer. 2. Open the Top Cover. 3. Open the door at the back of the Left Hand Cover. 4. Disconnect the Electrical Cable from the rear of the Ink Cartridge Tube Connector. 5. Disconnect the Air Tube. 6. Twist the 3 latches at the rear of the Ink Cartridge Tube Connector and release the complete Assembly. 7. Remove the Ink Cartridge Tube Connector and place safely on the window. 8. Remove 1 T-15 screw (Type F) from the Left Hand Cover (rear). 9. Close the Left Back door and remove 1 T- 25 screw (Type U) from bottom side (rear) of Left Hand Cover. 10.
