Turn off the printer by disconnecting the printer power cable, 3. turn on the printer, still holding the POWER button The indicator (L.E.D.) should be green. 4. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange. 5. Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green. 6. Release both buttons. 7. Solution: Download the I320 Service Tool (.exe), run the i320 service tool and follow the steps below: Install the print head, and while holding down the POWER button, plug in the AC cable (the green lamp lights up.) While still holding down the POWER button, press the RESUME button twice and release the POWER button to enter the Service Mode (each press of the RESUME button changes the LED color: the LED lights in orange the first time, and in green at the second time.) Connect the printer to the computer, select "USB PORT" using the i320 service tool. Destination setting: other than Japan: select "1" in "SET DESTINATION", Japan: select "2" in "SET DESTINATION". EEPROM is reset at the same time when the destination is set.

MAJ 13/11/15 Here is the procedure to reset waste ink counter on Canon I850 :     Start with the printer OFF 1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER 2. Release RESUME 3. Press RESUME twice, then release POWER 4.
