I replaced waste ink pad on Epson Workforce 633 - very easy. I ran the reset utility from Epson successfully but the message continues on the display that the ink pads are nearing the end of their service. I'm on a PC with Windows 7. I've turned the machine off and left it off for a while and the message continues. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I don't think that SSC works for Epson L210.

Hi Ken,

The SSC su will reset only the waste ink counter (and it doesn't work for XP420).

If you want to reset your cartridges, you need to buy some chips or a chip resetter.

Hi, I have a Epson WF-4630 pro and need to reset my printer counter as I have changed cartridges but the counter does not change. I have used wicreset to change the firmware but they do no do the reset counter.... can you help ? I am willing to pay or donate if you can help me out.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. The problem is as the printer cartridge level goes down and I change the cartridge using a 3rd party cartridge the ink level on the screen stays at the same level even though there is a new full cartridge unless I use a genuine cartridge. I think I need to be able to reset the ink levels. I used Wicreset to downgrade my firmware so as I can use 3rd party cartridges but at the moment they do not reset ink levels. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, I get an error message E-91 on the EPSON Stylus Photo R240, according to the Internet It means "Waste Ink Pad", that the pads are saturated.
You must clean them and reset the machine with a reset program.

Can you help me?
