How to solve error code 5,156,61 on Canon printers

Here are some solutions to solve error code 5,156,61:

Solution 1: If you have an USB hub
  • Remove the hub and connect the printer directly to the PC.

Solution 2:
  • Try another USB port on the PC.

Solution 3:
  • Try another USB cable.

Solution 4:
  • Unisntall the driver of the printer.
  • Disconnect and power off the printer
  • Download the last driver from Canon.
  • Reboot.
  • Install the new driver

Completely agree!!! I'm having nothing but problems with this Canon Printer (and software). I can scan using the standard Microsoft Document scanning software, but not the scanning software that came with the printer which took an incredible amount of time to install and setup..

kan met de usb kabel wel scannen
maar via de wifi niet

printen gaat wel met wifi en ook met usb

hopeloos geval
