How to solve error code 5C20 on Canon printers



Solution 1:  The logic board is faulty: it can't move the rollers and carriage. Try a reset:
  • On the operator panel, press the button. The display will go blank.
  • Unplug the power cord and plug it back in after 30 seconds to ensure that the device resets itself.
  • Then press the button.
  • Once the printer has restarted, try to print a test page

Solution 2: Pump roller sensor error or Error. The pump roller position cannot be detected.
  • Replace Purge drive system unit
