HP C5188: Ink system failure - 0xc18a0107



Reset the All-in-One to the factory default settings by using these instructions:
  • Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
  • Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord.Now unplug and re plug the power cable at the back of the All-in-One


Works for C5140, C5188 too.

Hi,

I call this error a ghost. It will sometimes appear right after turning on the printer or even in the middle of printing. This bother me so much that I have to search the internet for some answers.
