Error code 0xc18a0106 on HP Photosmart printers

Solution 1 : Push "OK", "Cancel", "Black" and "Color" all at once while turning the printer off. Fixing error code U140 & U150 on canon printers

  Solution 1 : Open the paper output tray. Turn on the printer and open the scanning unit. The printer cartridge carriage will move to the center. Open the inner cover securing the cartridge in place by pulling it downward. Press the tab on the problematic ink cartridge and lift it to remove it from the printer. You will be able to tell which ink cartridge is causing the problem because its indicator light will be off or flashing. Open the replacement ink cartridge and pull the orange tape in the direction of the arrow to remove the protective film. Tear the orange tape off along the dotted line. Place the ink cartridges into the printer and press where indicated on the cartridge until it clicks into place. Solution: With the printer plugged in and powered off, press and hold the " Resume/Cancel " button, then press and hold the " Power " button. Do not release the buttons. The LED will be gree. While holding the " Power " button, release only the " Resume/Cancel " button. While holding the " Power " button, press the " Resume/Cancel " button 2 times, and then release both the buttons. Error U043 on Canon printers

This error appears on these models: Canon Pixma MP500, MP610, MP830, MP640, MP800, MP530... Solution 1 : Press and hold the Stop/reset button for 5-10 sec then release. Solution 2 : Clean the electrical contacts on the chip of the cartridge.  Solution 3:   Replace the faulty cartirdge.

Error 5700 or ##356 on Canon printers

The 5700 error code is a ASF cam error. ASF Cam Sensor Error. When this occurs, the gears cannot rotate properly causing a grinding noise and 5 alternating blinks (SFP) or ##356 Solution : Step 1: Remove the Left and Right Covers and the Main Case Unit (main cover) Step 2: Remove the 4 mounting screws from the Chassis. Step 3: Remove the Main Unit from the Bottom Case. Step 4: Turn the Main Unit over (upside down) and place on work surface. Step 5: Inspect the ASF section of the Main Unit for a gap between the white plastic guide and the Chassis. The size of the gap varies. Even if the gap is not visible, complete the steps below. Step 6: Disc connect the appropriate cables and remove the Logic Board from the Chassis. Step 7: Loosen (do not remove) the 4 mounting screws (the mounting screws can be found behind the logic board) on the Chassis.
